The dates follow the Umm al-Qura calendar. Ramadan begins and ends with the sighting of the moon in your country, so the first day may move by one day.

When breaking the fast

ذَهَبَ الظَّمَأُ وَابْتَلَّتِ الْعُرُوقُ وَثَبَتَ الْأَجْرُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ
Dhahaba al-zama'u wabtallatil-'uruqu wa thabatal-ajru in sha' Allah
The thirst has gone, the veins are moistened, and the reward is certain, if Allah wills.
தாகம் தணிந்தது, நரம்புகள் நனைந்தன, அல்லாஹ் நாடினால் கூலி உறுதியாகிவிட்டது.
Sunan Abi Dawud 2357

About this timetable

Suhoor, the meal before dawn, must end by Fajr. Many timetables stop it a few minutes earlier to be safe; the All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama asks for 2 minutes before Fajr. The fast is broken at Maghrib, just after sunset.

For Sri Lankan cities, the official ACJU timetable for your zone is used. Elsewhere the times are worked out for your city, the same way as on the prayer times page and on Masjid TV, which also shows Suhoor, Iftar and Taraweeh on the masjid's screen through Ramadan.
