What Al-Batin means
Al-Batin means the Hidden, the One who is closest to all things. Our eyes cannot see Him in this world and our minds cannot fully understand Him, yet nothing is hidden from Him, and He is nearer to us than anything. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said in his dua: 'You are Al-Batin, there is nothing beyond You' (Muslim).
