What Al-Ghafur means
Al-Ghafur means the All-Forgiving, whose forgiveness is complete and very great. He covers sins, does not expose them, and removes their punishment. No sin is too big for His forgiveness when a person truly repents (39:53). Al-Ghaffar shows that He forgives again and again; Al-Ghafur shows how complete His forgiveness is.
