What Al-Quddus means
Al-Quddus means the Most Pure and Holy, free from every fault, weakness and anything that does not suit His greatness. He never gets tired, never makes mistakes and has no equal. The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to say in his bowing and prostration: 'Subbuhun Quddusun, Rabbul-mala'ikati war-ruh', Most Glorified, Most Holy, Lord of the angels and the Spirit (Muslim).
