What Al-Muqaddim means
Al-Muqaddim means the One who brings forward. By His wisdom He puts some people and things before others: He gave some prophets and people a higher rank, and He brings forward whom He wills in goodness. He sent His warning ahead of the Day of Judgement (50:28), so no one has an excuse.
