What Al-Ghaffar means
Al-Ghaffar means the One who forgives again and again. However many times a servant sins and then sincerely turns back, He forgives. This name tells us never to lose hope, but to keep asking for forgiveness. Prophet Nuh (peace be upon him) told his people to seek forgiveness, and promised them rain, wealth and children as its blessings (71:10-12).
