What Al-Haqq means
Al-Haqq means the Truth. Allah truly exists, His words are true, His promise is true and meeting Him is true. Everything worshipped beside Him is false (22:62). In his night prayer the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to say: 'You are the Truth, Your promise is true, meeting You is true, Paradise is true and the Fire is true' (Bukhari, Muslim).

ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلْحَقُّ وَأَنَّهُۥ يُحْىِ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ وَأَنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرٌۭ
يَوْمَئِذٍۢ يُوَفِّيهِمُ ٱللَّهُ دِينَهُمُ ٱلْحَقَّ وَيَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلْحَقُّ ٱلْمُبِينُ
Living by this name
Stand for the truth even when it is hard, and always speak the truth. Pray: O Allah, show me the truth as truth and help me to follow it.
