What Az-Zahir means
Az-Zahir means the Manifest, the One above all things. His signs are clear everywhere in creation, so His existence is plain to see for anyone who reflects. The Prophet (peace be upon him) explained it in his dua: 'You are Az-Zahir, there is nothing above You' (Muslim).
