What Al-Wasi' means
Al-Wasi' means the All-Encompassing, whose mercy, knowledge, generosity and power have no limit. His mercy covers all things (7:156), and His forgiveness is wide enough for every sinner who repents. His giving never runs out, however much He gives.

وَلِلَّهِ ٱلْمَشْرِقُ وَٱلْمَغْرِبُ ۚ فَأَيْنَمَا تُوَلُّوا۟ فَثَمَّ وَجْهُ ٱللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ وَٰسِعٌ عَلِيمٌۭ
ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ يَعِدُكُمُ ٱلْفَقْرَ وَيَأْمُرُكُم بِٱلْفَحْشَآءِ ۖ وَٱللَّهُ يَعِدُكُم مَّغْفِرَةًۭ مِّنْهُ وَفَضْلًۭا ۗ وَٱللَّهُ وَٰسِعٌ عَلِيمٌۭ
Living by this name
Do not make Allah's mercy small in your mind, and be open-handed with others. Pray: Ya Wasi', widen my provision and forgive me.
