What Al-Wakil means
Al-Wakil means the Trustee, the One to whom we hand over our affairs. He takes care of everything for those who rely on Him, and He is enough as a Protector (33:3). Prophet Ibrahim said 'Hasbunallahu wa ni'mal-wakil' when he was thrown into the fire, and the Prophet Muhammad and his companions said it when they were threatened (3:173; Bukhari).
