What Al-Wahid means
Al-Wahid means the One. There is only one God, Allah, with no partner, no rival and no equal (2:163). He alone creates, He alone rules, and He alone deserves worship. This is the heart of tawhid and of 'La ilaha illallah'.

يَٰصَىٰحِبَىِ ٱلسِّجْنِ ءَأَرْبَابٌۭ مُّتَفَرِّقُونَ خَيْرٌ أَمِ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْوَٰحِدُ ٱلْقَهَّارُ
وَإِلَٰهُكُمْ إِلَٰهٌۭ وَٰحِدٌۭ ۖ لَّآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
Living by this name
Worship Allah alone and keep your deeds free from showing off. Say often: 'La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lah', there is no god but Allah alone, He has no partner.
