What Al-Malik means
Al-Malik means the King who owns everything and rules over everything. Kings of this world rule for a short time over a small land, but Allah's kingdom is complete and never ends. On the Day of Judgement every false claim of power will vanish, and Allah will say: 'I am the King' (Bukhari, Muslim).
