What Al-Halim means
Al-Halim means the Forbearing, who does not rush to punish. People disobey Him, yet He still gives them food, health and time to repent. His forbearance is not weakness; it comes from His power and mercy. If Allah punished people at once for their wrongs, He would not leave a single creature on earth (16:61).
